Since the beginning of this year, CR-Shanghai has supported the development of China's export-oriented economy by continuously promoting growth in rail-sea intermodal transport volume. As of May 9, the Yangtze River Delta railways have completed over 1 million TEUs of rail-sea intermodal transport since 2025.

　　In the Yangtze River Delta region, railway authorities have strengthened the capacity support of freight points and lines, effectively meeting the demand for rail-sea intermodal transport, driving down social logistics costs, and helping maintain stable and smooth supply chains as well as sustained improvement in foreign trade exports.
