Key Structure of Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway Completed: East Main Tower of Modao Gate Waterway Bridge Topped Out
The Shenzhen-Jiangmen High Speed Railway in Guangdong is a vital part of the coastal corridor of China's "Eight Vertical and Eight Horizontal" high-speed rail network. The main line stretches 116 kilometers, linking five cities: Shenzhen, Dongguan, Guangzhou, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. Once completed, travel between Shenzhen and Jiangmen will take less than one hour. On May 11, the east main tower of the Modao Gate Waterway Bridge, a key structure of the railway, was topped out.
